Beezid Christmas Offer

Posted on 25 December 2009 by admin

Beezid is promoting a “second shot” opportunity for those of you who have come to register, but didn’t buy a bid pack. You’ll receive $100 in Bonus Bids on your first bid pack purchase. All you have to do is select this bonus offer from the drop down in the Payment page when purchasing a Bid Pack. This means that no matter how many bids you buy, you’re guaranteed a 20% discount on the price for each bid, making it as low as 48 cents a bid!

www.beezid.com review

Posted on 21 December 2009 by admin

I have been asked to review Beezid website.

Beezid is a nice looking clean website. They have used Nice colors for website(Something like swoopo).
The website is hosted on dedicated server and server is Located in Broomfield US. Their Domain is under proxy. The website is developed by using PHP language like many other websites. Their software looks unique as I have not seen any website using that software yet. So it looks like their custom made software with Great features.

Their response time is very fast and even Response size is very small which makes it a very fast website for bidding. you can bid in last seconds. You can try their Mega view to list all of their auctions at one page. But I suggest not to use that when you are bidding. Reason is , more auctions on a webpage will increase page response size so it will be slow to bid.

I like their Drag Drop function to rearrange auctions. using that feature you can arrange your favorite auctions in line so that you don’t have to look for them on auction page.

They have implemented SSL on pages where it is required which is good. you can relax as your data will be encrypted before it is passed to server. so even using network sniffers, it will be hard to check what information you are passing to server.

They have nice variety of auctions. Overall website is good and worth trying. there are couple of suggestions to Beezid..

1. If they could implement Live chat(shoutbox) on each auction so that user can communicate with each other, that will be great. users will feel safe that they are not bidding against Auto Bidders.
2. Show who is online on public pages with GEO information.

These features should be there on all auction websites.

If you have tried that website you can share your experience in our forum.

Note: Now you can discuss your views about Beezid.com in our forum. Feel free to join and start your own topic.

Plbid.co.uk Problems

Posted on 17 December 2009 by admin

I was planning to write a review about plbid but it seems they have extended the closure of their website for another 6 months. If you cast your mind back to my last article about plbid you may recall they closed because of a “security issue”. This must be one helluva security problem for them to close down for a further six months! I will not be reviewing plbid or should I say attempt to review plbid as in my opinion for a company that has only been operating for a short number of months they have had too many problems to be true. Cashflow problem, a security problem or a technical problem, maybe you can decide for yourself.

Posted on 12 December 2009 by admin

Rockybid.com was down from last few days and they have been doing Beta testing. They are back live now with a new software. Earlier they were using software developed in .NET now they are back with PHP software. They are using PHP script which has been used by many other websites.

I hope this software works well for them.

Bargainsandfun.com needs BETA Tester

Posted on 11 December 2009 by admin

Here is the message we got from Bargainsandfun

Bargainsandfun.com is a PA website I have been developing for the past few months. It is now ready to be tested and I would like to run a Beta Test beginning December 14th 2009 and running until the 17th or all test auctions have completed. This site is located in the United States and currently that is the targeted market however all are invited to attend and help with the testing.

Any User that takes part in the Beta test will be given a 25 free bids (an $18.75 value) when the site goes live (which is planned for January 1st 2010).

Beta Testers Needed

As with all testing I need people to not only test the things they wish to test like bidding but to also test some other things to make sure that the site is 100% ready for a real world deployment.
Bidders – Obviously I need people to register on the site and bid on the auctions.

People to buy bids – For testing purposes I’m going to create a bidpack (only for the BetaTest) that will be $.01 and give 10 bids. I am using the live paypal site not the development site so you will actually have to pay the .01

People to make purchases – For testing purposes I will need people to make purchases on some of the items won. Once again this will be on the live paypal site NOT the development site so you will be charged.

People to Signup for a Newsletter (yes i’ll be sending one during the test)

People to submit a form from the contact us page.

As for the money spent in paypal It will all be refunded back to you as soon as the testing is completed.

NO ITEMS will actually be sold during this testing process – they will all be Dummy items just for testing purposes.

We would like to thank everyone who helps out in advance for their cooperation. You can begin registering on the site now, however no actual test auctions will be starting until Monday at 9:00AM. Please feel free to take a look around and if you see anything wrong please let us know.

Also On registration you will be given 2000 bids to use during the test. After testing is over we will change all accounts to represent the 25 free bids + the 10 that all new users will receive.

We would also like to welcome any comments, questions, or requests that anyone here may have.

MAW Vs PAW continues…

Posted on 03 December 2009 by admin

The story with PAW continues. This morning I have been received with a letter from my client Redbread instructing me to remove all content including there brand advertising from our website. This is a direct result of all the untrue statements made by PAW. I have no doubt that the person to blame for this will also try and invent stories about other sites I have featured so I will advise all advertisers and owners of websites to contact me direct if you do hear from these people. The person responsible is nothing but a trouble causer who has deliberately upset my clients maybe PAW is nervous that a good review website has appeared.

I did not want to publish my transaction detail with redbread BUT I have to do it now to prove that Redbread is not MAW. Please check the video (Try HD and Full Screen Mode).

If we are Redbread why would we pay ourselves for Directory listing and why would we email ourselves and ask about advertising rates. Mentioned transaction was completed on 12th Nov. Now this is proof from MAW.

We lost one advertiser because of Stupid PAW. They have published that post without investigating. I don’t think their reviews are honest.

MAW Vs PAW

Posted on 03 December 2009 by admin

To date I am still waiting for a response to the challenge we made to PAW. Although they have edited their post they have not done anything to remove their slanderous comments about MAW. They cannot prove their allegations that we are a scamming website. The reason is because they cannot as they have nothing to go on as we have done nothing .

I hope they have gone through my reviews and hope the are educated enough to understand that. All of these reviews took me personally a lot of time and the summarize reached are my honest opinions based on fact. I have proof to back my reviews.

All that PAW are doing now is Googling MAW, Xpertz and redbread and if they find anything any links they are publishing it on their website.

If they are so clean why don’t they reveal their identity? Why their domain is using proxy server to hide their contact detail? I find this surprising against their claims to be the top penny auction reviewer website. Why don’t PAW reveal their identity so that everyone can know who they are.

They have added a twitter screen shot from Redbread on twitter account which simply tells the story we were running. If I have website and PAW uses good stories or reviews for our website, I will let other people know by using emails or twitter or facebook etc..

I strongly suggest PAW to remove the post about MAW or provide me with any solid proof to back up their claims.

Lame post from pennyauctionwatch

Posted on 02 December 2009 by admin

Our Reply to post from PennyAuctionWatch.com

Without Prejudice

MyAuctionWebsite is using the same company to optimize our website which Redbread.co.uk is using. There is no harm in that whatsoever. How many times have we posted anything about Redbread? We do not encourage readers to use RedBread we simply provide Technical reviews. This post is very lame from PennyAuctionWebsite.

The trackroute he has mentioned 97.174.144.122 is IP address of Godaddy Server. Hundreds of websites are hosted on GoDaddy. We dont care about where Xpertz.NET is hosted or where Redbread is Hosted.

Xpertz.NET is company who is taking care of SEO for us. We have 2 websites.

http://www.myauctionwebsite.com

http://www.nobdy.com

For proof Check Google Adsense ID for both websites. Nobdy is also hosted on Godaddy and SEO is done by same company.

Here are some other clients of Xpertz websites which PAW did not mention

http://www.scenesafe.co.uk

http://www.hill-country-visitor.com

http://tutorfacetoface.com

http://www.kerrvillewebsite.com

http://www.countrytraders.com

http://www.allmediaservicesltd.com/

most of them are using same Google analytics ID. so that doesn’t mean that these are owened or controlled By MyAuctionWebsite OR Redbread. visit these websites and some of them has “Powered by Xpertz” signature at bottom.

And website he is mentioning like SEO-XPERTZ.NET is free article submission website for SEO. Anyone can submit article on that. Xperz is company who provide SEO Services.

MyAuctionWebsite is a new website and we added links in directory for free in the beginning . now we are charging money to submit website in our directory. Does PAW have problem with that?
It has been couple of months since we launched this website. We will get Alexa rank with time.

Our reviews are technical and IF PAW could prove any of our review wrong or fake, We will take our website down at same day. This is our challenge to PAW.

If they could not prove that, they better shut up and take that post down.

Redbread have had no input on MAW and have had no involvement with the creation or management of my website. I strongly refute any suggestion from yourself that MAW is a scam and I am sure when the management team of Redbread learn of your comments they will feel exactly the same regarding the comments made by yourself.

I would suggest that in future you choose your words very carefully before making such ludicrous accusations.
I would encourage you to publish an apology immediately for these false accusations.
